How we handle the information you give us through this website.
The Bloomers Trust (Registered Charity 1187676), Letraset Building, Wotton Road, Ashford, Kent, TN23 6LN, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. This notice covers this public website only. Information you share with us as part of a referral is handled separately, under our safeguarding and data-protection arrangements, and is not covered here.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Contact form: your name, email address, and the message you send.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics on it.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry (our legitimate interest in responding to you).
- To send you updates, if you signed up for our newsletter (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who processes it
Our website and its forms are hosted by Netlify, which processes form submissions on our behalf. Submissions are then emailed to our Google Workspace mailbox (info@thebloomerstrust.co.uk). Both may store data on servers outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages only as long as we need them to deal with your request, and no longer than 24 months, after which they are deleted. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to unsubscribe from our emails at any time. To do any of these, email info@thebloomerstrust.co.uk. If something has gone wrong, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
